Early Bird Baker ("Early Bird Baker", "we", "us") operates the bakery ordering and delivery platform at earlybirdbaker.com. We serve bakery customers across New Jersey.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Name, email address, phone number, business name, delivery address
• Order data: Products ordered, delivery dates, order history, payment information
• Delivery data: GPS coordinates during deliveries (drivers only), delivery photos, signatures
• Communication data: Support tickets, SMS messages, email correspondence
• Device data: Browser type, IP address for security and login verification

How We Use Your Information

• Processing and delivering your orders
• Account authentication and security (including SMS verification codes)
• Sending order confirmations, delivery updates, and invoices

SMS Communications

If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you transactional SMS messages including login verification codes, order status updates, and delivery notifications. We do not share your phone number or SMS data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers: AWS (hosting, email, SMS), Stripe (payments), Google Maps (delivery routing) — only as necessary to operate the platform
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive data (driver license photos use AES-256-GCM), and secure authentication with multi-factor verification.

Bank Account Connections

If you choose to connect a bank account to Early Bird Baker, the connection is made through Plaid, a bank data service, on your bank's own sign-in page. We never see or store your bank password. We receive read-only balances and transactions, which we use to match deposits to invoices and to show your account activity. The connection cannot move money, and you can disconnect it at any time, which destroys our access key. Plaid's handling of your data is described in its own privacy policy at plaid.com/legal.

Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request account deletion by contacting us.
